Are you struggling to find things to be grateful for? It can be easy to take things in life for granted and not live a life of gratitude. We can get easily distracted by everyday responsibilities, the hard times that we face, and even negative influences. But when we live a life of thankfulness, we become healthier, happier, more productive, less stressed, and, overall, live a more positive lifestyle.

Gratitude Journaling
I have found it helpful to have a gratitude journal and take 5 minutes in the morning or in the evening to write out 3-5 things that I am thankful for. I’ve noticed that doing this in the morning, helps set up my day with a grateful heart. Or I have done this in the evening before bed, which has helped me to reflect on my day. Either way, I highly recommend starting a gratitude journal.
Prayer
After I write out a couple of things that I am grateful for, I take time to pray out loud over those things, or I will write out my prayer in my gratitude journal. While it is good to recognize the things that we are grateful for, it is even more important to thank the one who has given us all of these beautiful things.
